A decent bar near Chinatown and the Commons. PBR on tap for $2 a pop. Ciders on tap for $6. Bottles of Corona for $6. Side salads cost $5, regular salads $9 or $10. Okay prices for the city, food wasn't bad but wasn't anything special either. Staff was friendly, the place gets crowded sometimes but has a lot of space. Cool interior, not handicap accessible.
We came in town for a Bruins game and fell into this great bar on accident. Can not recommend this bar enough!! The food was amazing and so generous in portions. The drinks were delicious.
It was a welcoming environment and of we are ever back in town will be making it a point to stop back in.
Was my old watering hole 15 years ago. Watched Sox win 04' series with friends and it hasn't changed one bit (except they now carry Fiddlehead IPA!) Love this place. It is now the definition of nostalgia for me.
Super fast and food was AMAZING. We shared the duck poutine and the reuben was the best he ever had

On a positive note the Guinness tastes like Ireland! Not a single Irish Bar in Boston has good Irish food. Perhaps they are too busy being “woke.”
My first time visiting JJ Folley restaurant was the day before St. Patrick’s Day this year of 2023. I sat back and watched this waiter “hustle” with a “friendly smile” on his face to all the customers he was serving, and was impressed by the way he handled everything. At the end of my stay, I asked to speak to the manager……And, when I did, I found out the gentleman’s name was Mike( the owners son) and it was his father, who owns the restaurant. “ Kudos to Mike” for providing us “excellent service” and I most definitely will come back again when I’m in the Boston area.
